What Local Lantern is — and is not

Local Lantern is a directory and discovery product. It is not an endorsement platform, a recommendation engine for safety or quality, or a verifier of licensing, insurance, legality, or business ownership.

• Local Lantern does not recommend, endorse, certify, inspect, or guarantee any business.
• Listings may contain public or user-submitted information that can be incomplete, stale, or inaccurate.
• You must use your own judgment before engaging any business.
• Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their own profile content.
• Paid placements and promoted campaigns are advertising, not endorsements.
• Local Lantern is not responsible for transactions, services, disputes, safety, licensing, or insurance.

Accounts & business claims

Claiming a listing verifies control of a public business contact channel only — it is not a verification of legal ownership. Local Lantern may reverse claims and remove content at its discretion.

Advertising

Ad campaigns are reviewed before activation. Pricing, approval, and campaign state are determined by Local Lantern.
